Full Itinerary
Day 1: Visit Karisoke Research Centre & Village Cycling
Pick
up from the bus station (hotel) and then proceed to Karisoke research centre
and gorilla museum https://gorillafund.org/karisoke-research-center/ for
more info about the museum. While there, you’ll learn a lot about gorilla
behaviour in relation with human behaviour, you’ll see gorilla skeletons and
nose prints and also find out a lot about the founder Dian Fossey. Later hop on
your bicycles and ride through the villages of Musanze, make stops to interact
with the locals, especially the kids, then head to your home stay. Option: One&Only

Day
2: Caves & Cultural Visit
Visit
the caves near Musanze in the morning. Four caves were created when different
lava flows joined to create the Albertine Rift Valley. You’ll see bat roosts as
well as huge roof collapses that created colored light shafts. Then proceed to
the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village, after
that head to the food market for shopping before driving to your local home
stay to prepare and have dinner with the host family and stay overnight. Option: One&Only

Day
3: Canoeing + Depart
Say
goodbye to your hosts. Pick-up for a 2 hours canoeing ride. Spend a morning
amongst the Thousand Hills of Rwanda, floating down a gentle river in a modern
canoe. Set in the foothills of the Virunga Volcanoes, discover a special way to
travel, soak up impressive views, watch abundant birds and look out for the
otters, meet friendly communities and find just a little excitement in the
modern canoes. Later drop-off at Kigali International Airport or the bus
station
