For this reason, we include Rwandan Emergency Medical Evacuation Service (EMES) Insurance in all of our tours. This ensures that, in the event of an emergency, our guests receive the fastest and most reliable access to medical care.
Only EMES guarantees helicopter transfer when available, or the fastest land or water ambulance.
A dedicated hotline connects directly to paramedics trained to coordinate urgent evacuation.
Without EMES, guests may need to pay over USD 3,000 per hour upfront for helicopter evacuation.
Your guide or our support staff will handle all emergency procedures, ensuring that while you are cared for medically, logistics and payments are never your concern.
