Uganda: $800 USD (Bwindi and Mgahinga) via Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA).

DRC: $400–$450 USD (Virunga National Park) via Institut Congolais pour la Conservation de la Nature (ICCN).
Are permits needed for golden monkey or chimpanzee trekking?
Golden Monkey Trekking:

Rwanda: $100 USD (Volcanoes NP)
Uganda: $60 USD (Mgahinga NP)

Chimpanzee Trekking:

Is public transportation an option?
Not recommended for accessing national parks or remote areas.

What visa requirements should I be aware of?
Rwanda & Uganda: You can apply for a single-country visa or the East Africa Tourist Visa, which allows travel between Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya.

DRC: Requires a separate visa; must be obtained prior to arrival.

Yellow Fever vaccination is mandatory for all three countries.
